Nike Announces Release of the LeBron 15 "Equality" via Online Draw
“More than a shoe.”
Back in October, LeBron James stepped on the court in a special “Equality” edition of the Nike LeBron 15 for the NBA‘s season opener. Since then, we’ve seen King James wear that PE in both its white and black iterations, in addition to mismatching the two. Now today, Nike has officially announced that both colorways will finally release in extremely limited quantities of 200 pairs for each color.
The Nike LeBron 15 “Equality” PE will be made available via an online draw for those who reside in the United States. Participants can also enter with a $10 USD donation as many times as they want with all proceeds going directly to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. The online draw is currently open with a conclusion date of March 2 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Winners will receive a call or email on March 3, with their pair(s) expected to arrive the week of March 5.
You can also watch LeBron James and Kevin Durant’s insightful conversation with Cari Champion which generated a triggering response from Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and has since led to an interesting back-and-forth between the news anchor and James.
??Great morning to all! Basketball is our vehicle but equality is our mission – stand for something positive and do what you can to make a difference!! Proud to announce we’re dropping the “Equality” PE. There’s always a personal connection with a drop – this one goes beyond basketball. Proceeds go to the Smithsonian Natl Museum of African American History & Culture. #Equality✊??? #StriveForGreatness? #IWillNotShutUpAndDribble
